tea tree & lemon myrtle
Fresh, sparkling citrus-spice.
One of my favorites in the Tea Tree Series, this soap reminds me of that Lemon Heads candy, sweet and sour SMACK. We load this soap with pure Lemon Myrtle essential oil from Australia. Lemon Myrtle is 10-30 times more "lemony" than lemon itself. Lemon Myrtle contains citral, the component responsible for its lemony aroma. Citral is also what makes this essential oil an excellent antibacterial, & anti-fungal; In fact, some studies show greater results than the better known tea tree essential oil.
This fresh, sparkling, citrus-spice blend also includes tea tree and petitgrain essential oils. Tea Tree for its medicinal, antiseptic qualities and petitgrain for its fresh, sparkling, citrus-spice aroma that smoothes and treats the skin & relieves skin pain. Petitgrain promotes healing & is great for mature skin.
In addition, we add locally harvested annatto seed which is a great source of beta-carotene known for its antioxidant properties. A great remedy for acne, disturbed or sunburned skin. Enjoy this cheerful pick-me-up anytime.
